Parents Support Group

(Ages 0 to 2)

BAAM’s Parent Support Group is designed for families with children ages 0 to 2. We help new parents adjust to caring for their little ones by guiding them to enjoy music together, building joyful routines and early bonds through sound. The group also provides a welcoming space where parents can connect, share experiences, and build friendships with others on a similar life journey.

Little Mozart Class

(Ages 2 to 4)

A short, music program to stimulate young toddlers in music as described by Edwin Gordon. Learn more about Music Learning Theory. The caregiver must attend together with the child.

Mozart Preschool

(Ages 3 to 5)

For children who are potty trained, this drop-off program is divided into 3 Tiers to provide effective programs based on their specific abilities and current development regardless of the age.

Team: MOZART

  • Level 1: Exposure to sound and introduction to various instrument in a spontaneous environment. Self-paced plays and preschool appropriate toys are provided. (30-minute/day)
  • Level 2: Children who are showing some interest in music and who are able to follow at least 2 minutes of instruction and show focus are promoted to this group. The goal for this class is to stretch their focus up to 5 minutes at any one given time. (30-minute/day)
  • Level 3: Children who can follow from 5 minutes of instruction are promoted to this group. Students get to try out some part of the Piano Adventure’s Program with some breaks. The goal is to stretch the focus up to 15 minutes at any one given time. (45-minute/day) It is expected that when children appear unfocused and unable to follow instructions, they will be self-exploring the environment which is a crucial part of child development. Young Junior

(Ages 4 to 7)

Students admitted to the school may be placed in the Young Junior Division, where private lessons are introduced gradually.

Junior 1

(Ages 5 to 8)

Students who have passed the Division Qualification for Junior 1 are introduced to the RCM Examination and Music Theory.

Artist Associate (by Audition)

(19 and over)

Adult students who have earned a diploma from RCM, ABRSM (or equivalent), or are actively pursuing a university or college degree (major or minor) in music. They continue their studies while receiving lessons, mentorship, and performance opportunities as they build professional skills.


Artist Fellow (by Invitation)

(20 and over)

Graduates with a university or college music degree who are recognized as professional pianists working to develop their careers. Artist Fellows receive advanced mentorship, concert engagements, and support as they establish themselves.


Resident Artist (Appointed)

(22 and over)

Accomplished performers invited to represent the organization through high-level performances, projects, and community engagement. Resident Artists are supported in concert engagements and special initiatives, and they may mentor junior artists.

Teaching College

(16 and above)

All faculty at Bellevue Academy of Arts & Music complete extensive teacher training. Senior 2 students may be considered for Teaching College entry after a thorough evaluation.

General Music Class

General Music offers affordable weekly group classes that develop music skills supported by the MATHPIANO program for music reading and rhythm development.

BAAM After School Program

The BAAM After School Program incorporates the MATHPIANO curriculum, giving students extended time to work on their music while also supporting them in managing their academic responsibilities. This balanced environment helps students strengthen both their musical skills and school performance during their time in the program.

BAAM Digital School

The Digital School is available to students who have passed MATHPIANO Level 2, offering flexible programs to support diverse learning needs.

The Transition Team offers three tiers to support students progressing at their own pace.

Music in Seattle Summer Camp

(Ages 6 to 13)

Music in Seattle offers fun, engaging summer programs for students of all ages. Campers build skills in piano, violin, and music theory through lessons, group activities, and performances, all in a supportive, creative environment. From preschool music to intensive piano camps, students grow musically while making new friends and enjoying summer in the Seattle area.


Piano Fitness School for Adults

(19 and over)

Piano Fitness School is an adult-friendly program that blends the discipline of piano study with the enjoyment and flexibility of a fitness-style membership. Designed for adults at any level, the School offers structured lessons, guided practice sessions, and community support, all with the goal of making piano part of your personal growth and daily life.

  • Allows one skipped payment every 6 cycles without losing registration; otherwise, membership is re-initiated

Students are evaluated and placed into specialized divisions based on their age, progress, and achievements. If they are unable to meet the required standards within the age limitations, a grace period of up to one year is provided to fulfill these criteria. Once this promotion window, including the grace period, closes, students have the option to continue their musical journey in the General Division.
